New Skills' New Recruits
As part of New Skills Consulting’s continued growth, we have recently added two new members to our team of experienced economic development practitioners.
Anne Burns has joined the company to head up our research and evaluation services. She brings with her a wealth of experience in social and economic research, with particular expertise in applying innovative approaches to measuring economic impact. Prior to joining New Skills, Anne worked for URS in Manchester where she helped to grow and develop their Northern England Economics Team. Anne will be using her expertise to bring additional skills and fresh ideas to New Skills’ rapidly expanding research and evaluation services.
New Skills’ second new recruit is Sue Mason, who has been appointed as a senior funding consultant to work in our bid writing and project management services. Sue, who joins the company from South Tyneside College, is a funding specialist with a strong track record in the management of ESF, ERDF and Single Programme Funds. Throughout her career she has supported over 100 organisations across the North East to secure more than £30m funding for regeneration projects in some of the North East’s most deprived communities.
Anne and Sue are valuable additions to our team of highly experienced consultants. Not only will they enable us to continue delivering high quality, practical support to our clients, they will also play an important role in the company’s future growth.
