Here’s just a small selection of our recent programme management work:

Project: STEM Programme Co-ordination Unit

Client: One North East

The £2.54m Single Programme funded Regional STEM Skills Programme aims to increase the number of young people in the North East studying subjects with a science, technology, engineering or maths base, and to encourage them to follow careers in these sectors. Working with The KSA Partnership and STEMNET, we are managing the programme on behalf of One North East - supporting delivery of STEM education activities, developing a web portal, supporting the STEM North East Partnership Board and delivering a forward strategy. This work will ensure the sustainability of the STEM Skills Programme, helping the North East to develop and retain talent and supporting the future competitiveness of the region.

Project: Programme Management Framework

Client: & Wear City Region Employment and Skills Partnership

In July 2008 North Tyneside Council successfully secured £5.26m Single Programme funding on behalf of the Partnership, to provide employability services to help long-term unemployed people into sustainable employment. To facilitate the successful delivery of the employability programme, we developed a programme management and performance monitoring framework. The resulting clearly structured process has enabled the Partnership to maximise the impact of the service by selecting the most appropriate provision and managing performance effectively.

Project: Higher Level Skills Capacity Fund

Client: One North East

This regional project aims to drive up the supply of higher level skills in response to the needs of employers in the nine priority sectors identified in the Regional Economic Strategy. The Fund will help to improve the quality and relevance of higher level skills and increase the percentage of adults in the North East with a qualification at level 4 or above. We are providing the programme management function for this £5.9m Fund to ensure it meets its aims, objectives and outputs. In doing so we will help the North East to improve its higher level skills and increase the competitiveness and productivity of its businesses.
