Social and Sustainable Capital has announced today the launch of The Community Investment Fund. The Fund will invest between £250,000 and £1m in loans or equity into community based social enterprises and charities in England.
The fund, financed jointly by The Social Investment Business
and Big Society Capital, is aimed at community based, locally led organisations
that improve the lives of local people, for example those providing health, social care, education and
training services.
