Client: Northern Inclusion Consortium is an established partnership of four of the North East’s largest charities: DISC, Groundwork North East and Cumbria, Changing Lives and Mental Health Concern. NIC provides integrated solutions to combat the problems associated with homelessness, joblessness, offending, drug and alcohol, and poor physical and mental health.
Project: Working in partnership with NIC we developed a successful Stage 1 Building Better Opportunities ESF bid to help deliver the ‘Step Forward Tees Valley’ programme. The programme brings together 23 organisations to deliver a comprehensive programme of social inclusion, employment and skills support for disadvantaged individuals across Tees Valley.
Impact: Step Forward Tees Valley is the only programme in the Tees Valley to be invited to submit a Stage 2 business plan, securing over £8m of ESF and BIG Lottery Funding.
